CORNAY COMPANY SUCCESSFUL AT KING OF HAMMERS

LONGMONT, Colo. — Cornay Company was well represented at the King of Hammers event held February 26 and 27 at Johnson Valley, California.

Two well-known desert and rock racers, Nichole Johnson of Johnson Racing and Nick Sessions of Xtreme Engineering, featured Cornay C.V. joints on their custom-made competition rock buggies. The joint performed well for both drivers, indicating how well the Cornay technology performs under the most challenging conditions.

"The Cornay CVX-30 has proven itself as a strong, reliable C.V. joint and has eliminated high-speed vibrations in my competition rock buggy. I've put this joint through rigorous abuse, slamming it on rocks and racing it through the desert. I am impressed with its strength and durability to withstand the harsh demands of extreme rock crawling," said Johnson.

The buggies, built by Blue Torch Fabworks and Xtreme Engineering, utilized the Cornay joints as they allow for greater suspension travel and driveshaft durability.

King of the Hammers is an annual event designed to incorporate rock racing and desert racing. The course is approximately 80 miles of desert racing combined with approximately seven miles of rock racing through the Johnson Valley trails known as the Hammers (Sledgehammer, Jackhammer, Wrecking Ball, etc.).
